Serving adults, adolescents and couples

We help develop skills and tools to navigate relationships, anxiety, trauma and PTSD.

Counseling is more than problem-solving; it’s also a place to recognize, reclaim and foster the strengths you already have. Building on a foundation of "what's working” is deeply empowering, both for managing life's inevitable challenges and healing from grief, sadness and trauma.

Hollis Counseling is the counseling practice of Licensed Professional Counselor Lucy Hollis, MEd, LPC, NCC. We are located in Suite 101 on the first floor of The Park Woods Building at 402 Office Park Drive, Birmingham, AL 35223

Most people are reluctant to contact a therapist when they are struggling. Just visiting a website like this one can feel daunting, so we've developed a process to make the first steps as easy as possible. We meet you where you are and help you find your bearings. Our clients often report that setting the first appointment was the most challenging step in the healing process and that each subsequent step became more manageable.

Successful counseling depends on trust and connection, so we honor the bravery required to engage with a counselor by creating a safe space that allows you to move at your own pace.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, facing a life transition, or need guidance on the path to trauma recovery, we are here to listen and provide individualized, objective support to identify your goals and get started realizing them.
